I thought I was past this
But here I am again
Longing for more
And holding it in
I thought I was wiser
But maybe I’m wrong
I still bite my tongue
And pretend to go along
I thought I was content
Now I know it’s not true
I’ll chase some new dreams
Because it’s been overdue
