Last year’s start
Left me puzzled
With a new year
Came a new struggle
A glance from the past
Catching your reflection
Closing my eyes
To forget the recollection
Bury these feelings
That only persist
Cover my eyes
I need to resist
Piling up
These words left unspoken
I’d speak my mind
But I am still frozen
