After the pain you inflicted
I still cared through all these years
And nothing’s even changed
It always ends in tears

Hello poetry lovers,
Late as usual, but I am wrapping things up for another year I shared with you all! First off, a big shout-out to the readers who joined my poetic journey, witnessing an 11.31% increase from 283 to 315 followers in the last year.
To those new to my blog, welcome! I make it a tradition to provide an annual update, sharing not only a blog recap but also my year as a person. Feel free to explore my past updates and non-poetry-related posts in my “Personal” category.
Managing this blog for 8 years now, I’ve generated 513 posts. A sincere thank you to all the readers who have been a part of this journey:

Reflecting on my posts from the last year, after taking a break January-March, I shared content from 2003, 2004, 2011, 2024, and the first half of 2025. Here is what was most viewed in 2025:

Last year, I continued with my social leagues, enjoying bowling and cornhole:

One thing I have always loved to do is recreation photos. Here is me at the New York-New York Hotel in Las Vegas in 2003 and 2025:

I immersed myself in music with 11 concerts and 3 music festivals, seeing the following artists live:
I got some pictures with some of these artists as well. Here’s Sorry X, K Enagonio from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Ricky Jab from Taylor Acorn’s Band:

I now have pictures with REDDSTAR from the last two years, featuring my friend Cynthea:

Although I didn’t see her perform this year, I also got my annual photo with MVSSIE (2023-2025):

Also, MVSSIE created a music video this year with submissions from fans, and my video clip was selected! I am featured at 1 minute and 12 seconds:
My Spotify Wrapped is always the soundtrack of my year. Music has an influence over my creative writing:

Here’s what my year looked like through my camera roll:
As we turn the page on the calendar, I’d like to send warm wishes for a Happy New Year to everyone. May this year be filled with living, laughing, and lobotomies (or love, whatever). Cheers to 2026!

Staying in your life felt like solving a puzzle
When none of the pieces seem to fit
The shape appears to match without lining up
And I’m stubborn so it takes a lot for me to quit
The puzzle was hindering as the years passed by
But I was determined for so long to make it work
Now the puzzle sits like a story on my shelf
Because I was the only one doing the legwork
Note: This was actually the last poem that I finished this year. I’ve started many, and I will post later next year once they’re complete. For now, I’m going to pause while I draft my yearly recap and then dig through my old poems to continue sharing things I wrote in the past. I hope you all have a great New Year!
