Last week I found a fallen tree
But the more I think about it, maybe that was me
I found myself in the middle of the road
I’ve fallen down with no place to go
My roots were torn right out of the ground
And as I tumbled over, no one heard a sound
I’m screaming for help but there’s nobody there
They’ve all turned around because nobody cares

A flame was blown
Your soul went free
And left us alone

You grew your wings
An angel above
Watching over everything

I don’t know what to say
Have I written it all
Everyone has that phase
Where they’re done playing with Dolls
I don’t know where I’m going
I took a wrong turn
I played with the directions
And wound up getting burned
This was only a game
Why does it feel so real
I’ve looked everywhere
And there’s no potion to be healed
