Time is running out
I don’t have enough
I’m fighting over deadlines
And other stupid stuff
My thoughts are a mess
I don’t know what to do
I’m having anxiety
That I can’t make it through
But I’m almost done
And I’m almost there
I have to pull myself together
Because I’m supposed to care
Yet I can’t live up to these standards
When I set them for myself
I just wish I lived an ordinary life
And wanted nothing else

You taught me always to do what I was told
Thanks for trying to help me
You just guided me into insanity
