I’m staring in the distance
But it seems so far away
I’m lost inside the crowd
And I’m lost inside the day
I watch the streetlights change
It makes the time go by
And every time I meet someone
I have to say goodbye
My thoughts are all so heavy
They try to weigh me down
I try to keep my smile
But it turns into a frown
I can’t keep myself stable
I try to hold on tight
And the more I seem to feel something
The more it seems to fight
I’m lost inside my thoughts
You killed me with that look
I trusted you too fast
Because you read me like a book
I warned you I was stupid
So you tricked me with your eyes
And I was all too happy
Until I found out it was lies

I get a little bit crazy
But nothing out of control
My minds a little bit spacy
When I’m out on my own
And I’m a little bit stupid
And I’m falling behind
And I’m a little bit complicated
Why can’t I just push rewind

And the piles adding up
But I just can’t take that much

And I don’t know just who I am
Please figure me out
And I don’t know what to do
I’m just always in doubt
And I need some help

And I’ve lost everything

Never been over here
And I’m a little dizzy
Trying to get over this fear
And I lost my help
Because they let me go
And the more I ask
The more I hear no

A feeling that’s so right
Turning daylight into night
The words fade out of songs
They said they’ve known this all along
It shattered my inside
But it seems we did collide
I tried so hard for your attention
You seemed to have me in suspension
A shock within a thought
A feeling without being caught
A smile without a trace
A girl without a face
A place for fingertips
Once following your lips
Fallen on the bed
My body dropping dead
The clock blinks time away
Until it seems we’ve lost the day
