I’m still trying to get over it
Over all the pain
Going from love to hate
Really drives you insane
All those scars
All those tears
All the memories
All the fears
Broken hearts
Bitter scream
Emptiness
Or so it seems
I don’t think there’s room again
For you inside my heart
To wreck, to kill, to break
My soul apart
My words mean nothing
Nothing to you
Because nothing I say
Ever gets through
My eyes fill with water
But I don’t cry
I’m stronger than that now
And you know why
But I’m still trying to get over it
Over all the pain
Going from love to hate
Really drives you insane

Broken Smile

I see the girl
With the broken smile
She’s in the mirror
And has been lost for a while
She’s disappeared
Into an empty dark place
And the only thing left of her
Is her picture
No smile on her face
No evidence to trace
I’m the only one who sees her
Nobody even wants to be her
Her broken smile is on her face
Her shattered heart beats one last time
And that broken smile on her face
That broken smile’s mine

Not Feeling Too Well

I’m not feeling too well
I wish that I could just slip away
And fall to hell
Feelings are growing too deep
They’re so strong
And the sound of your voice
Makes me weak
I’m trying to stand up again
But I keep falling down
I’m jotting down the first thing on my mind
Why does life give us eyes
Only to make us feel so blind
