Another fleeting moment
And it was only that
I need to let go of
What doesn’t want me back
Months of patience
Never pushing
And it was you
Who started rushing
But you don’t want me
You’ve made that clear
You lead me on
And then disappear

I love the way you hypnotize me with your eyes
the way you bite my lip
the way I feel when you grab me by my hips
I love the way I feel wrapped in your arms
how you laugh at me when I yawn
the words on my back you had once drawn
I love hearing your voice
or seeing your name light up my phone
the way you make me feel like I’m not alone
I love the way you call me the woman you’re in love with
the words that make me melt
the way you make me feel like no one else

We’ll fall asleep

Waking up
In my favorite place
Your lips touch mine
And I see your face
You made me fall
